Programs
During summer reading kids will visit the library every week with their punch card and each week they come in they can get a prize. Summer reading is a fun way to keep kids interested in reading while they aren't in school. Along with weekly prizes there will be special events every week. Some of the events we will have are provided by:
- The Wildlife Company (1 hour)
- Buster Balloon (1 hour)
- Wacko the Magician (1 hour)
- Color-Me-Mine (for children 7 - 13)
- And much more!
Goals
- Advance literacy by encouraging children to read during the summer months.
- Improve children’s access to library materials and activities
- Help children find new and exciting books
- Just have fun!
